We are happy to announce that both Rhea Verbeke and Raymond Thür have successfully defended their PhD Theses. The research of Rhea focused on chlorine-resistant polymeric membranes for sustainable water purification and Raymond worked on the development of mixed matrix and thin-film nanocomposite membranes for the separation of CO2 and olefin/paraffin mixtures under industrial conditions. After his PhD Raymond decided to stay at our research group as a postdoctoral researcher.
